It was a great day. We recorded everything "live", which meant we did the whole thing together, at the same time. This would be simple, but each piece of music is about ten minutes each! So, as you can imagine, there are plenty of opportunities for people to mess up.
But here is a lesson learnt. PRACTICE before you go in the studio. We got both pieces of music down in about four takes. That's pretty good.
Dan Lucas from Anchor baby was very professional. This was great, as most people we have recorded with in the past had been idiots, to be honest. Computers crashing. Un-saved work. Bad sound, etc. This was a pro enviroment. Of course, you pay for that, but it is totally worth it, and I can't recommend a quality producer, enough. Especially one that isn't scared of speaking their mind.
Once these little beauties are mixed down, we will have them mastered. After that, they'll be ready for human consumption!
